Rhode Island Interior Design Firm
Creating chic, elevated spaces with a colorful touch
Our clients span many ages and stages of life, but they’re all united in their desire to live in homes that allow them to savor every moment of their days, both big and small.
With our clients at the center of everything we do, we share that ambition and we’ve built our services and processes around achieving it for each client, regardless of their project.
For us, this is all about listening closely to our clients and challenging ourselves to innovate designs that are better than they could have ever imagined–designs that are tailor-made to let them enjoy life in a whole new way!
Ally Maloney Winzer
Founder & Principal
Balancing creative vision and professional expertise, Ally founded Maloney Interiors in 2014. Since then, she has overseen design direction, client care, and project management, giving each client highly personalized designs and a detailed level of service.
In addition to a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Wentworth Institute of Technology, Ally also holds a Certificate in Yacht Design from Westlawn Institute of Technology.
With experience that includes previous roles at Ted Hood Yacht Design & Derecktor Shipyard, Ally has a unique perspective on both interior architecture and coastal aesthetics. She invites clients to think outside the coastal style box, opening the door for them to embrace the styles they love most, even if they’re not typically seen in coastal homes.
“Coastal design doesn’t have to be preppy, blue and white, or like anything you’ve ever seen before.”
Whatever the project, Ally is uniquely equipped with the education, experience, and expertise to tailor the built environment to each client’s unique needs and vision.
She brings not only a discerning aesthetic sensibility but also a keen technical knowledge of interior architecture and construction to help her clients take their projects to the next level.
Disciplined and driven to achieve her clients’ goals for their projects, Ally acts as their trusted advisor and expert guide.
Grounded in the belief that the spaces we live in have a profound impact on how we feel and the outlook we carry with us throughout the day, Ally seeks to give her clients spaces that impact them positively.
"The most enjoyable homes are more than magazine-worthy. They invite experiences, spark conversations, and bridge the gap between timeless comfort and luxe livability.”
Ally prefers the challenge of working within each of her client’s unique design styles, as opposed to creating her own signature aesthetic. She finds inspiration in each client’s personality, tastes, and lifestyle, amplifying it all into something polished, inviting, and memorable.
“To me, every project is an opportunity to visually communicate the client’s unique story.”
Ally is Past President of the American Society of Interior Designers’ New England Chapter and continues to serve the local design community as a committee member of the Rhode Island Consortium for Interior Design.
She lives with her husband, Martin, and their four-legged child, Benni.
Design Obsession:
Wallpaper, especially on the ceiling (I’m so not a fan of plain white ceilings and I usually can convince clients to paint the ceiling in at least one room, if not actually adding a wallcovering!).
Can’t Live Without:
My cellphone. It’s terrible but it’s true!
Weekends Are For:
In summer: Boating and spending the day out on the water.
In winter: Skiing with my husband. All year round: Traveling, cooking and baking (I used to be a wedding cake decorator!).
Dream Vacation:
An African safari to see all the beautiful animals!
Last Meal:
How could I possibly pick just one?! Pizza, sushi, and wine!
Cassie Cordeiro

With a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and prior experience with large-scope projects at both residential and commercial design firms, Cassie plays a pivotal role at Maloney Interiors. In addition to helping to create the custom bespoke designs we’re known for, Cassie also ensures the seamless management of product procurement, and oversees project management on behalf of our clients.

Last Meal:
Definitely ice cream! Either peanut butter or cookie dough.
Sherri Wilson
Bookkeeper

Our clients love Sherri’s positive, energetic, and giving nature, and they rest easy knowing their projects’ financials are in her capable hands.
