Two new american superyachts debut at flibs

Two US built superyachts are debuting this week at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The Trinity Finish Line is a custom designed 120’ (36.7m) raised pilothouse superyacht with aluminum hull and superstructure. Finish Line represents the proud realization of her American owner, one who is hopeful that the design and performance of this yacht will serve as inspiration to other American yachtsmen to build in the United States.

With unusual speed for her size, Finish Line’s sleek naval architectureand styling enable her to run in excess of 23 knots with a range over3,600 nautical miles. With her normal cruising grounds being the EastCoast of the United States as well as the Bahamas, the yacht’s draft hasbeen specifically designed to be 5’6” (1.7m) in half-load condition. The shallow draft also enables her owner—a race car enthusiast— toaccess specific ports like Daytona Beach, Florida.

Hatteras Yachts has its new 100 Raised Pilothouse superyacht on display at the show. This new model brings styling cues from her classic lineage into the 21st century, and is designed to set the standard for Hatteras' next generation of motor yachts.

With a massive flybridge, an overall length of 31.09 metre, and a beam of 6.86 metre, her entertainment spaces and interior volume are easily compared to a mega-yacht much larger in size.
